For Berlin Art Week, on September 12, 2021, the haubrok foundation held the opening of Luft by Judith Hopf at FAHRBEREITSCHAFT, where she has been running her studio for many years now.
Judith hopf is a professor of Fine Arts at the Städelschule Frankfurt. She participated in documenta (13) and many other international group exhibitions. In 2018, a solo exhibition took place at the KW – institute for contemporary art in Berlin. Her work has also been shown at the Hammer Museum (Los Angeles) and at Metro Pictures in New York.
Almost at the same time as Luft, the exhibition Crip Time, with a group of works by Judith Hopf, opens at the MMK in Frankfurt.
I planned this for a long time and am therefore very happy that we could realise this solo exhibition on the premises of FAHRBEREITSCHAFT.
