Simon Mullan, who had his studio at FAHRBEREITSCHAFT, makes fabric paintings, among other things. In the still unrenovated Garage 50, we present only one large artwork: Blue Velvet (2014). It was created at FAHRBEREITSCHAFT
and made from many sewn-together bomber jackets in navy blue. The reverse side of the piece is made from the jackets’ orange fabric lining. With the tile work Kleiner Raum (Small room) (2015), Simon Mullan created a permanent installation at FAHRBEREITSCHAFT in House 12.
